Jonathan has directed numerous internationally released feature films, dramas, short films and branded content. He is at home in any genre from intense low budget dramas (such as the Cannes screened About Before) to large scale CGI, green-screen, prosthetics and FX work with budgets to match. He has directed talent such as Robert Englund (Freddy Kruger), Tom Felton (Harry Potter), Alan Ford (Snatch), Steven Berkoff (Octopussy) and John Lynch (Sliding Doors).

Jonathan also co-runs MovieMakers, an award winning drama and filmmaking scheme for children, teens and adults. To date the scheme has made over fifty short films including five for BBC Outreach in Salford and won awards at the BFI Southbank Kids for Kids film festival and at the Valencia Children's Film Festival in Spain.
